Space flight mechanics

Learning outcomes The aim of the module is to learn basic knowledge about the basics of space mechanics the laws of celestial mechanics the time and reference systems the disruption of flight paths. The aim of the module is to learn skills in the mathematical treatment of railway mechanical problems and in the creation of solution procedures and the programming of small solution algorithms. The aim of the module is also to develop professional skills in space flight mechanics and in the classification of the topic Context of space technology, the development of solution approaches and the investigation of their quality. Teaching content The content of the lecture and the exercises relate to the following topics: Two-body problem undisturbed satellite orbits Time and reference systems gravitational and non-gravitational forces Perturbation theory special tracks Relative movement interplanetary orbits Ascent railways special problems of railway mechanics impulsive railroad crossings Selection and application of thrust drives
